AYB-SD’s Vocational Training Program finished the training of 202 poor women on vocational skills including hand made products, sewing, and textile quality management.
Additionally, AYB-SD finished the training of 50 beneficiaries in Upper Egypt (El Menya, Beny Suif, Qena, and Fayoum) on AC maintenance, mobile and computer maintenance, pottery, painting, looms, earthenware, and driving heavy equipments. The graduates of the trainings will be employed in various workshops next month, and some others will receive loans to start their own projects.
AYB-SD trained 25 youth form various marginalized areas in Cairo to work as salesmen in one of Vodafone projects.
40 youth were trained on life and soft skills to work as couriers in Aramex.
AYB-SD also trained 20 youth on various life and soft skills, as well as computer skills, and those youth will be matched with employment opportunities next month.
