There are two types of training that we offer:
1 - Training and Career Guidance:
This program aims at the training of marginalized and unprivileged communities on soft and specialized skills to be qualified candidates for various job opportunities. The program tailors its trainings curricula based onemployers’ needs.
An integral part of the training and career guidance is to provide coaching for youth and women beforereceiving the training and the employment opportunity, and on the job (after receiving the employment opportunity).
Personal coaching is necessary to orient unprivileged communities about the job market, the labor law, and how to deal with stress and other team members in the workplace. Coaching also provides the neededexpectations for unprivileged communities about various job responsibilities, how to deal with the companies/factories’ management, and ethical work standards.
The trainings offered after the personal coaching are – but not limited to – the following:
Literacy Skills:
- Basic literacy (Arabic and Math) “Mahu Ommeya”.
- Computer literacy.
- English literacy.
Soft and Life Skills:
- Communication skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Time management skills.
- Stress management skills.
Specialized Skills:
- Sales.
- How to start a small business.
- Administrative work.
- Hospitality.
- Office assistantship.
- Housekeeping.
- Nanning and baby-sitting.
- Elder assistantship.
- Secretary work.
- Others based on market demand.
2 - Vocational Training:
This program focuses on the training of youth and women on sewing, leather making, and hand-made products to equip candidates with the necessary skills to access the labor market; specifically to work intextile factories. In addition, the program provides trainings on pottery, earthenware, hardware and mobile maintenance, driving of heavy equipments, and AC maintenance.
