overview on employment program

The program is one of a kind in Egypt, as it is the first Employment program to focus on the employment of marginalized youth and women and advocate for their rights in fair wages and treatment. The Employment Program researches the market to survey employers’ needs to channel them to AYB-SD training programs, and thus train beneficiaries on skills needed by the market.

The Employment Program also creates long-term partnership with employers, which not only involves beneficiaries’ placement but also monitors the performance of beneficiaries after being hired, and makes sure that beneficiaries receive fair wages and are fairly treated.

Graduates of AYB-SD Training and Career Guidance Program and Vocational Training Program are offered formal employment opportunities in companies, factories, schools, or NGOs based on the beneficiaries’ competencies and market demand.
