Fatma Mousa: A story of hope for the young women of Upper Egypt

Fatma knew about Alashanek ya Balady in 2010, when it opened in Upper Egypt. Fatma received 750 EGP loan from Alashanek ya Balady to receive earthenware, ceramics, and pottery training through the Vocational Training Program. After two months, Fatma learned the vocation, and started to make various earthenware products and sell to professional centers and shops that are sold inside and outside Egypt.
Impact:
Fatma is now able to generate 1,000 EGP per month through her trading activity.
