AYB-SD’s Founder and Chairperson Raghda El Ebrashi traveled to USA last November to receive AYB-SD’s YouthActionNet global leadership award for its social entrepreneurship and innovation. Launched in 2001 by the International Youth Foundation, YouthActionNet strengthens, supports, and celebrates the role of young people in leading positive change in their communities. Each year, 20 exceptional young social entrepreneurs are selected as YouthActionNet Global Fellows following a competitive application process. It is worth saying the AYB-SD is the first Egyptian organization to be selected for this award since the establishment of YouthActionNet.
