Cultural & Health Development Program

 
• Micro-Credit Program :

There are many people who have got ideas for projects but they lack the necessary finance. This program is responsible for providing the needed capital to start micro or small projects in poor communities. The loan is repaid in a certain period, while AYB-SD monitors the projects of the community and helps out people to successfully manage their projects and solve their problems.

• Capacity Building Program :

The initiative is responsible for training youth in poor communities various soft and technical skills to enhance their capabilities. The trainings include CV writing, career planning, presentation skills, negotiation skills as well as courses in marketing, sales, and others.

• Employment Office :

The office is responsible for bridging the gap between the job market and poor youth through employing qualified youth in Misr El Qadeama in various companies and factories. The office mainly employs youth graduating from the Capacity Building Program.

Vocational Training Center
 

•  Language Learning Center :

This center is designed to meet the continuous need of youth in poor districts to gain access to high quality language classes with reasonable prices that they can afford.

•  Computer Learning Center :

The Computer Learning Center (CLC) is one of the important educational programs highly needed by youth. CLC is designed to offer various general and specialized computer courses, which helps youth in poor communities to acquire the needed computer knowledge for their career development.

•  Illiteracy Eradication Program :

The Illiteracy Eradication program works on providing basics of Arabic and math to poor communities so as to be able to gain access to essential services, find employment opportunities, and manage their micro-businesses.

•  Ethics and Morals Program:

The program is designed to provide awareness sessions for poor communities on various aspects regarding raising up children and dealing with family members and neighbors.

 
•  Art Expression Program :

Using art has been proven successful in elevating the psychology and morals of children. The Art Expression unit is responsible for discovering the problems of children and teens and solving them through art. Art teaches children and teens teamwork, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. It also enables them to express their problems in indirect ways. Various forms of art include: theatre, drawing, pottery, handcrafts and others.

•  Human Development Program :

This program also targets the development of children and teens through interpersonal development and health programs. The interpersonal program includes forums for children and teens, where they can talk about the problems they face and lead discussions about general community problems. This is in addition to involving children and teens in sports, cultural trips, photographing sessions, and various health awareness sessions.
